Our training is focused on offensive and defensive skill development, teamwork and collaboration, and confidence-building in a positive and disciplined environment; providing the essential foundation for long-term growth in the sport - whether your child is new to basketball or preparing for the next level.

Hoops Lab Hawai'i is passionate about helping young athletes build a strong basketball foundation through fundamental skill building. Our team of experienced trainers have helped many athletes improve their game and achieve their goals. We believe that with dedication and hard work, any athlete can become a fundamentally sound basketball player that can make a difference on any team they play on.

Our sessions are designed to help athletes build their confidence on and off the court. We believe that when athletes feel confident in their skills, they are more likely to succeed in all areas of life.
Improve Your Skills
Our experienced trainers will work with you to improve your fundamental basketball skills, including defense, dribbling, passing, and more. We use proven training techniques to help you master these skills and build a foundation as you progress to the next level.
Elevate Game Time IQ
Our training program will help you develop a more well rounded athlete. We focus not only on basketball skills, but also on improving overall ability to make reads, implement better decision making, and understanding different roles and responsibilities on and off the court.

Meet Your Head Coach: William "JR" Broadus
Raised in Waianae and Mililani, Coach JR started cultivating his varsity basketball experience his sophomore year at Waianae High School and then finishing his senior year at Mililani High School. After high school, he played at Western Nebraska Community College, Oklahoma Baptist University, and professionally in Canada.
Over the past ten years, Coach JR has coached varsity and junior varsity at local high schools. He is also a coach for middle school club basketball teams. In the last decade, he has trained a number of youth athletes, ages five to 18, in various programs on O'ahu.
