MicroLabs

At Hoops Lab HawaiÊ»i, we’re redefining what youth basketball training looks like - one focused session at a time - MicroLabs.

Our micro-environments are intentionally smaller to provide personalized coaching, sharper skill development, and attention to every athlete.  Our focused training helps young hoopers build real confidence and real skills - that show up on game day.

MicroLabs

Registration for each MicroLab are via the ʻsign upʻ buttons below session descriptions

  • 50 minute MicroLab sessions

  • Small group up to 10 players

  • Session 1:  Ages 7 to 10, Novice Level

  • Sessions 2:  Ages 11 to 14, Novice Level

  • Session 3:  Ages 11 to 14Need some experience; this is not a beginner level training

Beginner MicroLab

  • Ages 7 to 10

  • Novice Level:  Little to no basketball experience

  • Foundational basketball skill building

Middle School Foundations

  • Ages 11 to 14

  • ​Little to no experience needed

  • This session is for the middle school athlete that is newer to the game of basketball and would like to develop a strong basketball fundamentals foundation.

Footwork & Finishing

Aiea District Park Gym
10:15 - 11:05 am

  • Ages 11 to 14

  • Need some experience; this is not a beginner level training

  • Ball Handling:  Reinforce foundational dribbling and passing skills, enhance control and confidence with the ball, strengthen ball-handling under pressure

  • Learn a variety of finishing moves at the rim

  • Improve decision-making in scoring situations

  • Build efficient footwork in the paint and on the perimeter

  • Applicable for both guards and post players
